ITOH Lab. has started. We have a laboratory on the 7th floor of the EI Emergence Engineering Building. Our research field is fluid system engineering. We aim to innovate automobiles, semiconductors, information technology, and biotechnology by measuring, understanding, and controlling phenomena related to fluids from the microscopic molecular level to the macroscopic level. 2024年11月22-24日に名古屋大学で開催された国際会議IEEE MHS2024において,Yi Hongdong君がBest Poster Awardを受賞しました.MHSは1990年から続く,マイクロ・ナノメカトロニクスと人間科学に関する国際学会です.来年は2025年11月23-25日に開催予定です.受賞した講演は下記の通りです.おめでとう!

Yi Hongdong won the Best Poster Award at the international conference IEEE MHS2024, held at Nagoya University on November 22-24, 2024. MHS is an international conference on micro-nano mechatronics and human science that has been held since 1990. Next year's conference is scheduled to be held on November 23-25, 2025. The lecture that won the award is as follows. Congratulations!

2024年11月22-24日に名古屋大学で開催されたIEEE MHS2024でYi Hongdong君が研究発表しました.水和ポリマーブラシを用いて長鎖DNAのサイズ分離を目指す研究です.今回の発表では,ポリマーブラシ膜表面を電気泳動するDNAの泳動速度とコンフォメーションの関係を実験的に検証し,さらにメカニズム解明のために中性子反射率測定によって界面ナノ構造解析を実施した結果を紹介しました.講演タイトルは以下の通り.

Yi Hongdong gave a research presentation at IEEE MHS2024, held at Nagoya University on November 22-24, 2024. This research aims to achieve size separation of long-chain DNA molecules using hydrated polymer brushes. In this presentation, he introduced the results of experimental verification of the relationship between the speed and conformation of DNA migrating on the surface of the polymer brush films, and also introduced the results of the interface nano-structure analysis using neutron reflectometry to elucidate the mechanism. The title of the lecture was as follows.
