・ナノスリット流路による巨大DNAのサイズ分析法を開発し、既存技術よりも高分離能 ・短時間でサイズ分析を実現。

・DNAの緩和時間(伸長状態からコイル状へ戻るまでの時間)を計測することで、サイズを正確に判別。

・デバイスは簡便なフォトリソグラフィで製造可能、わずか200分子で解析可能なため、量産・実用化に向けた展開が期待。

・新手法により、高精度かつ網羅的な疫学解析が可能、薬剤耐性菌対策への貢献が期待。

  • A method for analyzing the size of giant DNA using nano-slit flow channels has been developed, enabling higher separation efficiency than existing technologies and size analysis in a short time.

  • The size can be accurately determined by measuring the relaxation time (the time it takes for the DNA to return from an extended state to a coiled state).

  • The device can be manufactured using simple photolithography and can analyze as few as 200 molecules, so it is expected to be developed for mass production and practical application.

  • The new method enables high-precision and comprehensive epidemiological analysis, contributing to strategies against drug-resistant bacteria.
