スタートアップ支援プログラムTongali GAPファンドの成果報告会（Demo Day）として，Tech GALAでピッチをプレゼンしてきました．内容は「DNAデータストレージデバイスの開発」です．120名規模の会場が立ち見がでる盛況ぶりで，東海地区のスタートアップ熱を感じました．今後の盛り上がりが楽しみです．
I gave a pitch at the Tech GALA as part of the Tongali GAP Fund Demo Day, a startup support program. The topic was “Development of DNA data storage devices”. The venue was packed with 120 people, and I could feel the startup fever in the Tokai region.
オリジナルマインド社のKitMillを導入しました．小型部品の3D加工や電子回路基板の作成に重宝しそうです．動画は全面に銅が成膜されたエポキシ基盤を切削して回路配線をつくっている様子です．
We have introduced the KitMill from Original Mind. It will be useful for 3D processing of small parts and making electronic circuit boards. The video shows how to make circuit wiring by cutting an epoxy board with a copper film on the entire surface.
ナノインプリント技術研究会に出席して下記の講演を拝聴しました．昆虫から最先端のテクノロジーまで，ナノ構造をキーワードとした大変興味深い内容でした．生物や植物が進化の過程で得た機能や構造の本質を理解して人の役に技術に繋げる研究分野はバイオミメティクスとよばれています．この分野の発展においても，ナノスケールの加工技術の発展や物理現象の理解が鍵となります．

I attended the Nanoimprint Technology Study Group and listened to the lectures. The content was very interesting, covering everything from insects to cutting-edge technology, with the keyword being 'nanostructure'. The field of research that aims to understand the essence of the functions and structures that living organisms and plants have acquired through the process of evolution, and to use this to develop technologies that benefit humans, is called biomimetics. The development of nanoscale processing technology and an understanding of physical phenomena are also key to the development of this field. (The photo shows the view from the venue in Ryogoku where the study group was held. The Skytree was very beautiful.)
